Founder and Board Chair
Dr. Asoke Deysarkar
Dr. Asoke Deysarkar built a $1.5 billion conglomerate from scratch in the oil and gas sector. Alongside that success, he has championed a vision of developing a new generation of professionals who will be game changers in the industry.
Teaming up with his wife, Ruma Acharya-Deysarkar, he has donated $1 million to IIT Kharagpur to establish a one-of-its-kind programme in India — the Trans-Disciplinary Programme in Petroleum Engineering.
Asoke Deysarkar and family more recently donated their $10 million Houston property to establish an IIT Kharagpur Outreach Center. Texas AI Learning Center is located at that outreach center.
